Flavour Trails NSFF Festival Launch Celebration!

A fabulous farm-to-table 3-course dinner and evening of local music celebrating 10 years of the Flavour Trail and the 2017 North Saanich Food and Farm Festival! Join us for this evening of culinary and music magic! Chef Mitchell Morse has earned a reputation for delivering some of the most beautiful real food in the region. As both an organic farmer and chef, he knows and loves seasonal food . . . from the pasture and field, to pleasure on plate.

Accompanying the meal will be the sultry jazz vocal of acclaimed, local favourite Edie Lapont. Her jazz trio will make it a night to remember!

Menu:
1st Warmed tomato or pepper salad with feta, basil, olive oil and balsamic

2nd Lemon roasted Kildonan organic chicken with polenta and corn, on a bed of seasonal vegetable puree

3rd Berry Pavlova with lemoncurd, Meadowbrook Farm blueberries and fresh mint.

The evening is a fundraiser for CRFAIR's Good Food 2025 - - -working to increase the production of local food to 25% by year 2025 (from current 5-10%) and to decrease food insecurity in the region. Info at www.crfair.ca
