New York Writers Workshop's Small/Independent Press Pitch Conference is a platform for unconventional, quirky or literarily ambitious manuscripts. By bringing in editors from houses seeking first novels or memoirs, graphic novels or story collections, your work gets a fair hearing. We welcome work that defies the industry norms that govern big commercial houses.
