The Dick 'n Dubya Show: A Republican Outreach Cabaret
The Marsh, San Francisco's Breeding Ground for New Performance, presents "The Dick 'n Dubya Show: A Republican Outreach Cabaret."
Dubya (Amos Glick) and Dick (Ed Holmes) are on a mission: to infiltrate progressive communities and convert every last liberal into card-carrying Republicans. The show is full of singing (yes, Dubya sings,) dancing (yes, Dick dances,) speeches, (Dubya, much to Dick's consternation, has decided to write his own,) and a raucous press conference where the audience asks the questions.
Holmes and Glick honed their impersonations during outdoor shows with the San Francisco Mime Troupe. Bill Allard is a founding member of Duck's Breath Mystery Theater.
