THE ENCHANTED QUILL - PUBLIC PERFORMANCE
Bruka Theatre presents a ticketed performance an original play created with the participants in our 2017 Summer Theatre Camp on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at 11 am. The performance is an original play based on a recently found fairytale - The Enchanted Quill. The camp has adapted stories into plays for the last 7 years over 2 week theatre intensives with professional artists from Bruka Theatre and the community. This years camp is led by Mary Bennett with Alex Biber as a lead artist. Other teaching artists featured Riley Mckinney, Holly Natwora, Maggie Rieger and David Simpson with exceptional interns Illiana Juarez and Natalie Gonzalez. The performance is approximately 1 hour (we hope) and doors open 1/2 before curtain time. Tickets are $5 for kids under 12 and $10 General (Meaning people over 12 years old). It is appropriate for the whole family. Please let us know if you need handicapped accessibility. (775) 323-3221. There is a free performance for the community at the Downtown Reno Library on July 23, 2017 Sunday at 11 am. Seating is limited for both performances. Please arrive early.
