A staged reading of a brand new play

Teatro Visión has spent the last year gathering stories from your friends and neighbors right here in San José - and now those stories are part of this very special new play!
At this staged reading, actors will read from scripts without scenery or costumes. After the show, well ask for your feedback to continue to revise the script.
Doña Juana is a little like a partera (a midwife), but instead of bringing babies into this world, she helps the dying move from this life into whatever comes next. Now she's trying to train her young protégé Connie if Connie will take her ear buds out long enough to learn!
Departera (working title) is performed bilingually in English and Spanish.
Seating is general admission.

Doña Juana es un poco como una partera, pero en lugar de traer bebes al mundo, ella ayuda a los moribundos a mudarse de esta vida hacia lo que sea que venga después. Ahora intenta preparar a su protegida Connie ¡si tan solo Connie se quitara su audifonos un rato para poder aprender!
Departera (Título en proceso) se presenta en forma bilingüe en español e inglés.
