Yes Virginia, There is a Santa Claus
In 1887, an 8 year old girl named Virginia O'Hanlon wrote a letter to the New York Sun editor asking if Santa Claus was real. The reply by Rochester journalist Frances P. Church remains the most reprinted editorial in human history.
