"Bookmarked!" 2017

"Bookmarked!" helps preschool teachers and childcare providers explore how to best support healthy social and emotional development in early childhood settings. Topics for the days workshops will include early literacy skills, imaginative play, creative thinking, problem solving, and kindergarten readiness.

Bookmarked also provides a way for childcare leaders and preschool teachers to network and learn from and with each other, something that is not often possible for those employees who are busy day to day with the children for whom they care.

All workshops are approved for DHHS credit. "Bookmarked!" will also feature local celebrity "hero readers including well known children's authors demonstrating how to foster a love of reading.

Guests will receive gift packages that include books and school supplies, as well as take home materials from each workshop.

Lunch will be provided by Relish Café.
