SWANA Meeting and Anheuser-Busch Facility Tour
We will be meeting at the Anheuser-Busch facility in Fairfield, which is located at 3101 Busch Drive, Fairfield, CA 94534. The meeting will begin at 10:00, with lunch at 12:00 and a tour of the facility from 1:00 to 2:00.
Opened in 1976, the Fairfield brewery has quickly become our greenest brewery. The brewery uses energy from the sun and wind through a 7-acre solar array and two wind turbines. On average, the brewery sources approximately 30 percent of its electricity needs from alternative energy.
In addition to the wind turbines and solar arrays, the brewerys energy efficiency and conservation initiative include a bio-energy recovery system (BERS), recycling and water conservation efforts.
