Previously Level 1 Ballet this class is for beginners and experienced dancers that would like to take time to connect to the basics at a steadier pace. The class is fun and exploratory focusing on presence and awareness, enjoying being in the body and connecting with others. Using the classical structure we explore exercises at the barre and centre, finding a freedom of movement. In the centre there will be movements on place to find balance. The class builds up to turns, travelling through the space, and jumping and turning combinations.
