Indian Lake Theater's Blue Jean BBQ Gala Fundraiser

The Indian Lake Theater, nonprofit community screen and stage serving the Central Adirondacks, will hold its first Blue Jean BBQ Fundraiser at Byron Park in Indian Lake on July 23 from 3 to 6 pm.

Advance sale ticket price $10, $15 at the door. Kids 12 and under $5. The event will feature Willy's famous barbecue. Ticket price includes barbecue, 2 sides, dessert and water or soda. Hamburgers and hotdogs also available. Beer and wine will be available at a separate price.

The event will also include a fabulous tricky tray with prizes from a wide range of local businesses and private donations. Tickets for that are $5 per sheet.

The Indian Lake Theater is celebrating the 80th year of service of its historic 1930s movie house. Built in 1937 and operated as the summer only movie house, the Lake Theater until 2008, the Indian Lake Theater is the community screen and stage for the central Adirondacks. Through an extensive community fundraising effort, the theater was purchased in 2007 and converted into a nonprofit, year-round, community screen and stage.
