The Long Island Repertory Co. and Theater 294 present the world premiere of Claude Solnik's adaptation for the stage of Anton Chekhov's "The Kiss."
Timothy Gillespie directs the play, based on a classic Chekhov short story, about a soldier who sustains himself through a war thanks to a moment - and a memory.
A talented cast of more than a dozen performers appear in this ensemble piece that brings Chekhov's story to life in scenes ranging from ballrooms to battlefields - with some additional twists and turns.
