This class will introduce you to some of the main elements that pertain to Shetland Lace. We will cover traditional constructions used, working a knitted-on edging, provisional cast on and stretchy bind off. We'll practice some of the simpler lace motifs and then progress to more complicated patterns where lace is worked every row. Gudrun will also fill you in on some of the history behind Shetland Lace and bring some of her samples to class.|
