Art After Dark
Join Place des Arts 2017/18 Youth Arts Council for a free night of the arts! Take part in a variety of arts activities just for teens in a fun, social setting. Dance teacher Emily Mustard will lead hip-hop dance, while the Youth Arts Council will lead visual art activities, designed for and by teens including: painting with neon and glow-in-the-dark paints, making a faux neon sign, creating animated flipbooks using post-it notes. In addition to making art, teens can hang out in a chill room and enjoy other activities, snacks and music. All this and a prize draw to close the evening!
ADMISSION IS FREE. Registration is required before the event, as space is limited. Workshop selection will happen at the event, so please arrive on time. All teens ages 13 - 17 are welcome.
