Happily Scrappy Table Runner
Turn your shoe box full of scraps into a fun graphic table runner with easy-peasy improv piecing, die cutting, and a little paper foundation piecing too!
You'll need to bring your away-from-home sewing station plus a box of your favorite scraps and about a yard of contrasting and maybe even coordinating solid-ish fabric (mix and match these too if you like -- I did !) Be sure to include a rotary cutter, mat and basic ruler for trimming up your blocks and charm square template or ruler if you have one.
I'll provide the cash register paper for the foundation piecing and the die cutter, extra charm square template and ruler, as well as having a bucket of scraps on hand to add to the fun. This project is suitable for all levels of quilters and if you've never done free piecing before, get ready to open your mind to the wonderful world of improv and the quilted beauties that might be lurking in your scrap pile!
