West Side Story (Saint Mark's Lutheran Church - NSP)
Saint Mark's Lutheran Church is proud to present their Summer 2017 production of West Side Story!
Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet is transported to modern-day New York City as two young, idealistic lovers find themselves caught between warring street gangs, the "American" Jets and the Puerto Rican Sharks. Their struggle to survive in a world of hate, violence and prejudice is one of the most innovative, heart-wrenching and relevant musical dramas of our time.
Performances are August 10-20 at Saint Mark's Lutheran Church in North Saint Paul, running Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30pm, and Sundays at 2:00pm. Tickets are $10 for adults, and $8 for students and seniors 65+.
