Spindle Ensemble Live at The Old Barn, Kelston Roundhill
Bristol quartet Spindle Ensemble performs at The Old Barn on Kelston Roundhill on Saturday, 15th July. Featuring Harriet Riley on marimba - vibraphone, Caelia Lunniss on violin, Jo Silverston on cello and occasional musical saw and Daniel Inzani on keyboards, the group plays original, modern semi-classical compositions of filmic breadth and aural beauty.
Fiona Talkington, one of the presenters of BBC Radio 3's flagship programme Late Junction, observed: "Beautiful sounds, definitely a band to watch."
While Stage Talk Magazine says: "(The musicians) crafted beautifully layered landscapes of sound with enormous empathy for each others playing."
The support act will be announced soon.
The performance will be recorded for the fifth release on local independent label, Kelston Records.
