Hawaiian Plants for First Aid with David Bruce Leonard
Many Hawaiian plant medicines have useful applications for first aid. Learn to use what is in your yard to treat various acute and chronic conditions. We will focus on traditional Chinese medicine theory and use Chinese Dit Da (martial arts medicine) techniques as well as herb compresses and Gua Sha (Chinese spoon massage). We will make a poultices and salves using local plant materials as well as good (and bad) tasting infusions and decoctions.
