Chinese Herbal Medicines Growing in Hawaii with David Bruce Leonard
Because of similar latitude and climate, many herbs used in traditional Chinese medicine grow here in Hawai'i nei. Beginning with a foundational history of Chinese medicine and Daoism, we will then proceed to learn practical and some spiritual applications of these plants. Scientific, modern day TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine), and Daoist perspectives will be used to broaden our understanding of the rich bounty and cultural history of Hawaiian medicinal plants.
