Too Many Cooks: Holiday Cookie and Recipe Exchange

The holiday season offers a wonderful opportunity to pull out old family baking recipes, but it's also the perfect time to expand your cookie repertoire. With so many recipes available online and in cookbooks, however, it can be overwhelming trying to choose between them. For December's Too Many Cooks, we want to take the guess-work away from selecting between untried recipes by hosting a cookie recipe exchange that involves sampling the finished product, too!

We're asking each attendee to send us their favorite cookie recipe by December 7th and then bring two dozen cookies baked using that recipe to our Too Many Cooks event on December 9th (bars are also welcome!).

By the time the event is over, everyone will leave with bellies full of a variety of cookies, helpful new baking tips, and a bunch of delicious recipes to make for holiday work parties and family get togethers. **Each person will get to sample a few of the cookies brought by each of the other guests, so if you'd rather take yours home than eat them there, that's fine too!

Since we're asking guests to bring two dozen cookies, we're lowering our customary $5 admission to $2 (we still want to contribute something for using the Wild Goose space/heat!). We'll provide coffee, tea, and hot chocolate, and you're welcome to bring your own wine or beer. The event will start at 7pm.
