Our Perfect Holiday! (2012)
Strangeloop Theatre's zany, irreverent holiday performance series is back for a fifth year with a brand-new, fun-filled installment of seasonal music and mirth, Our Perfect Holiday!, this year co-produced by Chemically Imbalanced Comedy.
Kirk and Mary are celebrating their final holiday season as a couple before the arrival of their blessed event and they find themselves trapped in Union Station on Christmas Eve. Can they weather the storm with the advent of intrusion from the station's quirky inhabitants and locate Kirk's visiting mother in time to attain maximum Christmas cheer? Yippie-ki-yay, Mister Falcon!!
Performances will run on Thursday nights at 8 p.m. for 6 weeks from December 6, 2012 through January 10, 2013, at Chemically Imbalanced Comedy Theatre, 1422 W. Irving Park Road, Chicago. Tickets are $10 and are available at the door, by calling Strangeloop directly to make reservations at 773-757-6689, or at www.strangelooptheatre.org.
The cast of Our Perfect Holiday! includes Carrie Campana, Letitia Guillaud, Michael Wagman, Dustin Spence, Maria Burnham, Ben Campana and Paul Barile. The piece was written by Keith Gatchel and the cast and was directed by Holly Robison.
Our Perfect Holiday! joins Chemically Imbalanced Comedy's offering of holiday shows, including A Dirty '30s Christmas, Fridays & Saturdays at 8 p.m., December 7, 2012-January 12, 2013.
