On an ordinary day Ralph, a widower, takes a different path on his daily walk, a path that leads him to a second chance at love. Relying on his boyish charm he attempts to woo the distant Carol. In spite of Carol's reticence, and his sister's jealousy, Ralph embarks on the trip of a lifetime and regains a happiness that once seemed all but lost.
