ISAN On the Road: HULL
In association with Freedom Festival Freedom Breakfast: 10:00-11:30 Open Space discussion: representing and exploring concepts of freedom in a festival context.
____________________________________________________________________
The Independent Street Arts Network is excited to be back On the Road again in 2017, visiting a variety of festivals throughout the summer. Following on from last years fruitful tour, ISAN will bring a series of Outdoor Arts networking events to eight festivals across the UK and Ireland.
Each event will include a chance to learn more about the host festival from the festival team, some information about the work of ISAN and a lively open space style discussion around a topical issue affecting the sector.
We begin with short introductions, so you can expand your contact list and put a few faces to names, and its an opportunity to share information, news and ideas with fellow producers, programmers and artists.
We'll provide light refreshments in a friendly, informal atmosphere. Anyone with an interest in Outdoor Arts is welcome to come along and we encourage the host festival to invite their volunteers, local artists and practitioners and anyone they think might benefit from discovering more about the Outdoor Arts sector.
The timing is designed around the festival programme, trying to make it as inclusive as possible so that artists who are performing can come along, but please feel free to drop in and out of the event at any point.
