Presented by the Sabes Jewish Community Center, in partnership with the Israel Center of the Minneapolis Jewish Federation.

Ronit Matalon's best-selling novels, including The One Facing Us and The Sound of Our Steps, have been described as "haunting," "inventive," and "refreshingly daring." Matalon worked as a journalist for Israel TV and the newspaper Ha'aretz and is currently a senior lecturer in Hebrew and comparative literature at Haifa University.
