In honor of longtime community activist and benefactor Herb Tsuchiya's 80th Birthday, ReAct is pleased to present staged readings of THE HIDEKI CYCLE by bestselling local author Jean Davies Okimoto. Special presentations of UNCLE HIDEKI & THE EMPTY NEST will be presented this weekend. The sequel to the hit play UNCLE HIDEKI, in "Empty Nest" we revisit the Suyama family ten years later. It's 2005. People are still upset about Bush's re-election. Helen has remarried. Rodney has come out and now lives with his boyfriend Mark. Suzanne's boyfriend has left her...and Uncle Hideki is back for another memorable visit. Don't miss this charming family comedy about love and acceptance.
