Birdbath Theatres is pleased to present our second production, Eugene Ionesco's RHINOCEROS.
It is on the surface a play about people transforming into Rhinoceroses. Beneath that, there are themes exploring a person's relationship to society, ideology's effect in a crowd mentality, and the nature of love and resistance.
Although originally produced in France during 1959, the play feels uncomfortably timely in America today.
