Bystander Intervention
Are you concerned about increased hate-based violence? Do you feel at a loss for effective ways to intervene while keeping yourself safer? In this class you will learn about your options for direct intervention, indirect intervention, and distraction tactics. You'll also learn about barriers you could face and some ways to work around them. We will also consider ways to proactively create community in which violence reduction is a reality.
