I Thee Dread
The Blueridge Festival comes to a powerful conclusion with a trio of pieces to get your heart pumping. This concert offers a rare chance to hear the fascinating string quintet version of Beethovens potent Kreutzer Sonata. Also featured are Shostakovich's darkly spellbinding Piano Quintet and Chris Paul Harman's quasi-apocalyptic Midnight With the Stars and You. A firm farewell to summer.
