Fireside Chat with Congressman Krishnamoorthi
Join the Chicago Chinatown Chamber of Commerce on July 21, 2017 at Lee Wing Wah Restaurant to hear from our invited speaker and special guest, Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi.
Congressman Krishnamoorthi represents the 8th District of Illinois, which includes Chicago's west and northwest suburbs, and serves on the Committee on Education and the Workforce. In addition, he serves on the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, including as the ranking member, and top Democrat, on the subcommittee on health care and financial services.
During the luncheon, Congressman Krishnamoorthi will speak about the current environment in Congress/D.C., immigration and how it relates to the Chinese-American Community and his role as a freshman member of Congress. Following the presentation, the Congressman will address questions from the audience.
