Bird Focus: The Fledglings Saturday, July 15, 8:00 am -10:00 am $5 Ages 10 and up
Now is the time where walks through the park include the sounds of fledglings calling for one more meal from its parents. Many young birds are leaving the nest which presents the challenge of learning to forage and hunt for food and dangers from predators looking for birds who haven't learned survival skills. Come along with naturalist Ed Dominguez as he explains this perilous period and looks for young herons, owls and songbirds!
