Holiday Infusion Class

Chief Mixologist Mi-Suk Ahn of BOKA restaurant
+bar in Seattle has been infusing various kinds of
spirits for years and has become a master of the
craft. As one of Seattle's most celebrated
bartenders, her passion for infusions began in the
late 90's when liquor companies were just coming
out with flavored vodkas. Mi-Suk realized she
could infuse her own vodka along with many other
spirits in order to achieve the exact flavor she
knew her guests would enjoy. While working for
legendary Chef Tamara Murphy at Seattle's
Brasa, Mi-Suk was encouraged to use what was
available and in-season, which she would
incorporate into her infusions to enhance the
flavor of a classic cocktail or to create a brand
new one. Since then, Mi-Suk has brought her
passion and expertise to BOKA, where she offers
an ever-changing selection of around ten unique
infusions on her bar menu at any given time.
While it takes time, patience and an innate desire
for experimentation, infusing spirits is something
anyone can do at home.
