About Eric Hanson
An avid craft beer lover, Erics passion for the liquid began in 2006 with an apprentice position at a small brewpub outside of Philadelphia. Over the last decade, he has had the privilege of working many different roles in the beer industry. From a full-time brewer position at Rock Bottom Brewery, to researching and writing as the content developer for the Craft Beer App, to helping open and manage Top Hops Beer Shop. His recent advancement in beer led him to a sales position at Sixpoint brewery and also added the title of Certified Cicerone. Beer encompasses so many areas of our culture and life, from the raw ingredients and their sources, to the science and art of Brewing, and to everyone who enjoys a cold pint at the end of the day.
