ACHA - African Canadian Heritage Association 23rd Annual Fundraising Brunch
Tropicana's Centre of Excellence
Scarborough, ON
Share this event:

African Canadian Heritage Association's (ACHA) 23rd Annual Fundraising Brunch, celebrating 45 years of teaching African and Caribbean heritage to children in our community.    This year we are celebrating Ujamaa ~ Cooperative Economics.  Our keynote speaker will be Kofi Hope, Executive Director, CEE Centre for Young Black Professionals.

ACHA is a community-supported, not-for-profit organization that operates a curriculum-based heritage program for families with children and youth from ages 5-18. The participants are taught about the history and heritage of African people in Canada, Africa and the Diaspora. They learn this through the media of creative arts, classroom instruction and other real life applications.

ACHA depends on the contributions of parents, community and businesses to support the operation of the program, which allows ACHA to continue to make a tangible impact on the lives of many children and youth. For more information on ACHA, visit www.achaonline.org.
