Broadway's master of comedy, Neil Simon, expertly weaves a variety of Anton Chekhov short stories into a laugh-out-loud evening that is heartwarming, hilarious, and just what the doctor ordered. The cast of characters includes a writer, a blustering general, a lady of the night, a wild woman with a nervous disorder, a man who earns money by "drowning", a novice dentist, and an overeager actress, in a fast-paced, poignant, and joyful production.

Performances will take place in the Robert E. Nims Theatre in the UNO Performing Arts Center, and will run November 13th through November 17th at 7:30pm, and Sunday November 18th at 2:30pm. The Good Doctor is one of UNO's official entries to the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival. Directed by David W. Hoover and featuring an all-student cast: John Neisler (The Writer/Father); Paxton McCaghren (General/Voice); Justin Bupp (Cherdyakov/Husband); Brittany Garlepied (Madame Brassilhov);Jenny Billot (Mistress/Girl); Blair Pourciau (Julia); Mason Joiner (Kuryatin); Mark Griffin (Sexton); Larry Johnson (Man/Son); Tiffany Wolf (Woman/Pochatkin); Robert Facio (Peter); Elyse McDaniel (Wife); Kyle Woods (Narrator[Man]); Sam Malone (Sailor); Hunter Christopher (Policeman); Justin Guidroz (Kistunov); Kaitlyn Heckel (Woman); Jeff McCormick (Stagehand/Peasant); Sarah Chatelain (Stagehand/Peasant). Kayln Hepting (Stage Manager; Timothy Moseley (Asst.
