Mujer Klorica Flamenco Concert
We are delighted to be able to present the magical music of Alicia Carrasco, Jose Manuel Leon and Ruven Rippik in Manchester.
Mujer Klorica is a project that draws on the history of Flamenco as a political art form. Lyrically their songs explore the themes of social justice, tolerance and the role of women in Flamenco. Musically they mix elements of jazz and experimental music with a very traditional flamenco forms.
During the concert the phenomenal guitarist Jose Manuel Leon will also perform a number of solo pieces from his ground breaking album Sirimusa.
