Sake Tasting in the Garden
Sake Tasting in the garden is brought to you by the Phoenix Sister Cities Himeji Commitee & our friends at the Japanese Friendship Garden.
In honor of Phoenix's 40th Anniversary with its Sister City Himeji, Japan, Phoenix Mayor Greg Stanton signed a reaffirmation agreement with Himeji Vice Mayor Masahiro Utsumi. A delegation from Himeji visited Phoenix to mark the anniversary last year!
This event will be a part of our fundraising effort to strengthen existing programs in the fields of economy, education, culture, society, tourism and sustainable development as well as a commitment to expanding the friendship between residents of both cities.
Sample and savor up to a couple of Sakes (including sparkling and traditional) while enjoying strolling Japanese Friendship Garden!
The informal, walk-around tasting is guided supported by our sponsor, Hiro Sake and Nori Sushi Phoenix.
