Event
Tohoku & Kumamoto Earthquake Relief Fundraiser
Join us for an evening of discussion and community support by screening "Stories from Tohoku" and discussing the film with the filmmakers. Also enjoy sweets from a local eatery and coffee and entertainment by local Little Tokyo groups. It's been 6 years since the earthquake in Tohoku and a year since Kumamoto. Those of us in America with a special relationship and connection to Japan want to show that we have not forgotten and still want to send support to those rebuilding their lives.
Special Guest Panel: Brian Kito - Local Business Owner / Interviewed in film Darrell Miho - Photographer Megan Ono - LA College Student participant in film with Moderator - Debra Nakatomi (Producer)
Special musical performances by local artists and coffee and desserts on the patio overlooking the Japanese garden.
