Shadow/Presence
Light is stopped by an object in its pathway. A shadow appears. A dim shape, a dark contour the shadow is not the object, but it is both the objects presence and its absence. Shadow/Presence is a devised creation: the performers journey into the system of relationships that is Shadow Theatre. Through shadow play, the sensuous body discovers itself as an absent presence, and as a present absence.
