Celebration Concert for Nebraska's 150th Anniversary of Statehood
This is an Omaha Symphonic Chorus "Celebration Concert for Nebraskas 150th Anniversary of Statehood".
The Concert will be Sunday, May 7, 2017, 3:00 p.m. at the
Omaha Conservatory of Music, 7023 Cass St, Omaha, NE
We have three sections for the program:
I. Songs from the Past/Old Country Pieces by composers or folksongs from the past from countries reflective of the choirs ancestry.
II. Songs of Today Pieces by living composers or folk songs from countries reflective of the choirs ancestry.
III. The Road Home Pieces featuring texts about home, the path taken, the road not taken decisions which all lead to today our life in Nebraska.
