Bird Focus: Nesting Season Saturday, June 17 8:00-10:00 am $5 Adults Ages 10 and up
For June, Bird Focus is all about nesting birds. In and around Seward Park you can find birds that offer a variety of nesting structures. The sock-like, hanging nest of the American Bushtit, the bulky stick nests that make up a Great Blue Heron rookery, and the immense nest of the Bald Eagle are just a few. Ed Dominguez will tell all the hows and whys during this trip around Seward Park.
Please dress for the weather, binoculars are provided.
