Action Playwriting Workshop
Aristotle had it right--action is still the strongest basis for writing successful plays and solo shows. In this 4-hour workshop geared towards beginners and intermediate writers we will be studying action, obstacle, conflict, setting, plot, and story, and then utilizing them to kickstart strong performance pieces for the stage.
While playwrights and solo writer/performers typically benefit greatly from this class, actors and other performers often find that their experience gives them an immediate window into this work and they quickly take off with writing in this fashion.
