AFP Luncheon, April 2017
National surveys of nonprofit organizations have consistently shown that nonprofits have challenges, both with employees and the general community, regarding their perception of ethics and stewardship. This can have a major impact on fundraising. There are several things we can and should do to address these issues, but we need to start by understanding our personal ethics style and honestly assessing our organizations current ethics culture. Then we can move forward with setting the right tone at the top of the organization and living that out every day. Larry Finney, CPA will be leading the exciting presentation, "Yes, You Have an Ethics Style"!
Larry is a founding partner with Greene, Finney & Horton (GFH), a CPA firm with three offices is South Carolina and one in Norht Carolina. GFH focuses on working with nonprofits, local governments, and small businesses. GFH provides audit, accounting and advisory services to over 25 nonprofits in South Carolina. Larry has worked with nonprofits for over 20 years and is a frequent speaker for Together SC, formerly the South Carolina Association of Nonprofit Organizations (SCANPO).
Larry is married with three children and two grandchildren (which is the best gig ever!).
