Historic Flight Foundation is pleased to host the Tenth Annual Vintage Aircraft Weekend, September 1-3, 2017.
Festivities begin with the Big Band Dinner Dance on Friday, September 1 at 6 p.m. Enjoy a gourmet meal, then dance to the seventeen-piece "Kings of Swing" in advance of a Bob Hope/USO tribute. An Andrews Sisters revue follows, then more big band music featuring professional swing dancers. Prizes will recognize best period dress so dust off those military uniforms and zuit suits.

"VAW" has become a signature aviation festival for the Pacific Northwest.
Beginning Saturday morning at 9 a.m., the main event features live music, flying displays, vintage cars, military vehicles, vintage uniforms and professional entertainers, all intended to transport us to a special era. Families interact with pilots, enjoy hands-on activities and consider historic artifacts and displays.
Warbird and Biplane rides will be available for purchase throughout the day. Demonstration flying will begin at noon. A live Andrews Sisters Revue and Bob Hope USO Tribute will begin at 2 p.m. on the outdoor Kilo 7 Stage. Flying resumes at 3 p.m. with the warbirds and big twins. The final flight will land at 5 p.m.

Sunday provides an opportunity to visit with pilots about their aircraft as they prepare for local flying and their flights home. Enjoy live music and BBQ as you watch the planes fly by. On Sunday, patrons purchasing tickets through this site may bring a friend at no additional charge.
