Cider Apple Orcharding Workshop

Hard cider production and sales have dramatically increased over the last decade, and cidermakers are interested in cider-specific apple cultivars now more than ever. However, these apples are oftentimes in short supply and difficult to obtain.

The WSU NWREC in Mount Vernon, WA is offering a cider apple orcharding workshop to teach the fundamentals of growing cider apples in the Pacific Northwest. This one-day workshop follows the popular week-long Cider & Perry Production A Foundation course (http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/2901036). Students will receive knowledge from orcharding experts Clive Kaiser and Cameron Burt and will participate in hands-on practices. Registration includes workshop notes, materials, lunch, and beverages.
