Whats in a name? Ask Gwendolen and Cecily, two young ladies who have always dreamed of marrying a man called Ernest. Enter Algernon and Jack, two charming but rather dishonest gentlemen who are more than willing to oblige the ladies desire. Stir in enough complications to send all of London into a spin, and you have one of the wittiest romantic confections ever created for the stage. Directed by Brad Friedman, who played Algernon in high school and still remembers his lines.
