MC Spring Concert 2017
The MC Performing Arts Department presents their spring concert series "Past, Present, Future" on Thursday, April 6th and Friday, April 7th at 7pm in the Performing Arts Center. The concerts will feature performances by: Contemporary Music, Chamber Ensemble, Drumline, A Capella, Music Tech, Instrumental Music and the Jazz Ensemble.

Each ensemble will be approaching the concert theme in different creative ways. From Jazz Band embracing the past with Duke Ellington's "Take The A Train," while also racing towards the future with RH Factor's vocal feature "Crazy Race." On the choral side, students will be singing the Amercian traditional "Amazing Grace" and the classic gospel song "Oh Happy Day." The MC Drumline will transform into a percussion ensemble for the modern piece "Release The Kraken." Contemporary Music will feature golden oldies from the likes of Stevie Wonder all the way to modern artists such as Lake Street Dive.
