You Are Your Brand Workshop
Creative Capital is pleased to present YOU ARE YOUR BRAND, PDP's newest one-day workshop designed to help you create a strategy to more effectively present yourself and your work, and move confidently toward achieving your creative goals. The workshop is being offered at a special subsidized rate of $50 to New York area artists and is open to 20 artists on a first come, first serve basis.
Date: Sunday, December 2nd from 9:30-5:30
Cost: $50 (includes light breakfast and lunch)
Location: University Settlement - 273 Bowery, NY, NY 10002
Note: This workshop is very hands on and recommended for artists willing to participate in self-assessment exercises with a group.

Workshop Description:
Whether you know it or not, the moment you enter a room, people form an opinion about you. Only a fraction of your message is conveyed through the words you choose--what you wear, the energy and enthusiasm you convey, and how you engage others all affect how people respond to you. Corporations work exhaustively to calibrate and convey their brand. As artists we must do the same. We must know exactly who we are and what we want, and carefully sculpt the messages we send.
In You Are Your Brand, you will participate in a series of innovative exercises designed to help you discover what you project and how others perceive you. With this knowledge you can then create a strategy to more effectively present yourself and your work, and move confidently toward achieving your goals.
The workshop will be led by Maxine Lapiduss. In addition to her highly successful TV writing and producing career which spans over 25 years (Golden Globe winner, 4 Emmy nominations, Peoples Choice Award), Maxine has spent the last 10 years as an entrepreneur, non-profit founder, and Creative Strategist--helping visual artists, authors, filmmakers, and other creatives think more like successful businesses, and helping successful businesses think more creatively--expanding their brands and bottom lines.
