Never Too Many The doors are closing on Saul Rosenbloom's video rental store and Saul has one last chance to convince Alice that, even if life doesn't always turn out like it does in the movies, you still need to follow your heart.
A Fair Exchange Perry and Joanna support one another through a recent loss, but the real cause of their regret goes back two years. They're hopeful taking in an exchange student will help fill in a little of what's missing in their lives. Gondola A moonlit night on the waters of Venice is the ideal setting for poetry, romance and little white lies. Antonio's gondola is the best on the canal, but the boat's barely big enough for this evening's passengers and their plans; he'll need all his sailor's instincts to navigate these choppy waters.
Snow Day He is old and isolated but can still recall the precious connection he once had to the daughter that chose to no longer be a part of his life. She is a child wondering if her father will ever return. They meet on a snow day. She requests permission to shovel his long and dangerous driveway with her very inadequate shovel.
I Wonder Harold and Muriel are locked in a world of fear and immobility in a Eugene Ionesco style of comic surrealism filled with a sense of the absurd. The play is a satiric attack against the xenophobia and isolationist mentality reminiscent of our current social situation, where love of neighbor is buried under a disproportionate need for security.
Got No Claim Most nights at Mike's are pretty quiet. But throw in a dead lover, a distraught mistress, an even more distraught younger mistress, a pining bar owner and a peanut-tossing drunk and things can get interesting.
The Late Gordon Kaplan Gordon was considered a mensch, a man who was respected for his kindness and charitable giving. He had one troubling fault. His friends dismissed it, but not his wife, Norma. Would she rewrite his epitaph?
