Sista in the Brotherhood is a documentary about the complex issues facing women in the construction industry. This film is meant to inspire attendees to work towards meaningful and lasting cultural change.
Learning Objectives:
1.Watch a movie about issues facing women in the construction industry
2.Panel discussion on workforce conditions including inequality and harassment
3.Open discussion on how to effect change in industry wide attitudes towards women
4.Discuss how AIA can advocate for change, which may lead to a 2018 convention resolution.
