The Wild Party's Over
"Some love is fire, some love is rust; but the fiercest, cleanest love is lust."  Based on the classic 1928 poem, this vaudeville soiree soars with live music, drips with sensuality, and smells of that certain kind of 5am sadness that comes when the party's...finally...over.  Four seasoned entertainers from the theater, music, clowning, and nightlife scenes combine their powers to bring you a little poetry, dancing, romance, laughter, and danger.  Presented with support from the Bindlestiff Family Cirkus First of May Award.  Starring Jennifer Harder, Stephen Heskett, Charley Layton, and Natti Vogel.  Directed by Chris Rozzi, produced by Jennifer Harder.

Jennifer Harder (Queenie): BFA, Drama from NYU Tisch; founding member of theater company The Management; has toured to the DC, Dublin, and Montréal Fringe Festivals and the Ibero-American Festival in Bogotá, Colombia; NYIT Award winner for Outstanding Featured Actress, EmCee of Speakeasy Dollhouse, toured North America and Europe with bands Outernational and Gogol Bordello, musician with Hungry March Band, host of podcast Blonde Thunder Presents, and was a featured vaudevillian in Time Out NY magazine.

Stephen Heskett (Burrs). Stephen has appeared in independent theater throughout NYC, including FringeNYC and frequently at The Brick where he worked with Jenny Harder in Ultimate Fate of the Solar System.  Other roles include Abbie in the critically-acclaimed Sovereign, Len in Ecstasy (a scene-stealing portrayal -NY Times), Stanley in The Birthday Party at T. Schreiber Studios, Clifford in Side Man.

Charley Layton (Mr. Black) plays over 13 instruments, though not simultaneously, all self-taught. He holds a BFA in Drama from NYU and teaches speech/dialects both at the Atlantic Theater Company Acting School and Playwrights Horizons Theatre School. He has acted in and directed shows throughout NYC and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. He acts in Speakeasy Dollhouse, is currently the Master of Ceremonies for The Poetry Brothel, and hosts podcast Neo-Bohemia: An Artist's Companion.

Natti Vogel (Jackie) is an "indie rock fusion virtuoso" (NY Press) with a "rich, dark baroque voice" (MTV) who regularly plays sold-out NYC concerts solo on piano and with backing band, string quartet or orchestra at (le) Poisson Rouge, 54 Below and the McKittrick, etc. Recent acting credits include the feature film "Thirsty",  the web series "Everything's OK" and the rock opera "Fairy tales for the Fatherless." This month Natti will release the fan-favorite single "We All Move to Brooklyn, from a forthcoming orchestral pop record funded in part by the David Kassan Foundation.

Christopher Rozzi (Director) has performed his solo material in many venues, such as Joes Pub and The P.I.T., to name a few. His one-man comedy, Outré Island, has been produced by Ars Nova as a part of their residency series, directed by Tony Award winner, Sam Gold.  Chris is also is the creator of a successful art series called Tiny Confessions, the Secret Thoughts of Dogs, Cats, and Everything, which has recently been published as a book and multiple calendars.
