Living in the Flow -- Ruth Cherry
In this class Dr. Ruth Cherry will teach you a new approach to meditation.
We can learn to practice complete self-acceptance without judgment or criticism or rules. Nothing is wrong (or right) so we simply notice what exists. We are Observers, not Judges or Achievers. We may harbor a Critic in the shadowy corners of our minds but we look at that, too. With gentleness, we look at our need to control what we can't control and we learn to let go. We appreciate ourselves. We forgive others. And we practice peace.
As you will learn specific details about how to work with your awareness in meditation, you will notice your relationship to your thoughts and your feelings.
You will learn what allowing is and how it serves you. You will learn to work with your inner world so that you focus your energy productively. We all experience challenges. This class will empower you by teaching you to anchor in the peace which already exists at your core. Living with joy and creativity will follow naturally.
Ruth Cherry, PhD, is a clinical psychologist with 40 years of experience practicing individual psychotherapy. She specializes in the merging of psychological and spiritual dynamics over the course of a lifetime.
